Following artist film-maker Helen Petts as she makes a film for the Hatton Gallery, Newcastle following Kurt Schwitters' journey from Nazi Germany to Norway and The Lake District. The exhibition was first installed in the Hatton Gallery, Newcastle alongside Schwitters' Merzbarn Wall in June 2012. Subsequent exhibitions at the Royal Festival Hall, London and Abbot Hall Gallery in Kendal. Next screening Tate Britain 5 April 2013. The title is what Schwitters said he did with the 'merz' materials in his collages. This project is funded by the Arts Council of England Cultural Olympiad Unlimited Programme.
